Andrew Smith | Owner | Director of Construction & Property Management

Andrew brings more than 20 years of construction experience to every project. His passion for people and attention to detail inspired him to start Smith Works with a simple philosophy: the best results come from collaboration between clients, designers, and trades. That means communicating clearly, being honest when plans change, and caring as much about the people as the home.

After graduating from Colorado State University’s Construction Management program, Andrew worked on everything from new construction in Aspen to extensive remodels throughout the Roaring Fork Valley, along with smaller projects on tight timelines. He approaches each one with a solutions-oriented mindset, focused on achieving the client’s vision through thoughtful problem-solving, creativity, and attention to detail.

Today, Andrew leads both Smith Works’ remodeling and property care divisions. Property care looks after homes throughout the valley for owners who are often away or want one trusted point of contact. That includes routine walkthroughs, seasonal checks, coordination of repairs and trades, and regular updates. Twenty years of building homes means Andrew knows where problems tend to start, and the goal is to catch them while they’re small.

Andrew and his wife, Marie, a talented interior designer, call the Roaring Fork Valley home. Outside of work, he enjoys riding and racing bikes, teaching a youth cycling class, leading youth group, skiing and snowboarding with friends, spending time with his church community, and fly fishing.
